I like surprises.

When you know someone for that long, you know EVERYTHING about them.
You know how they’re going to wrinkle their nose when they hear something they don’t like.
You know exactly the kind of expression they’re going to pull when they’re posing for THAT kind of photograph.
You recognise their idiosyncrasies, the way they scratch their elbow when they’re feeling nervous, or blink their eyes when they are confused.

And in a world where everything’s constantly changing, and we’re always looking to reinvent the new,

How in the world can we stay focussed on one thing ?
